Recipe by the Sabrosa Salt Sisters
- 4 boneless center-cut pork chops (1 inch thick)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Sabrosa Gourmet Manzanilla Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Sabrosa Cumin-Cinnamon Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 apple slices
- 4 sage leaves
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Put the sage leaves on top of the apple slices and place them in a base of a baking dish and set aside.
Sprinkle the pork chops generously with Sabrosa Cumin-Cinnamon Salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the Sabrosa Gourmet Manzanilla Extra Virgin Olive Oil and butter in a skillet, arrange the pork chops, sear until they are rich golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer the pork chops to the baking dish, laying them on top of the apple sage slices. Roast in the oven until meat is cooked through and a instant-read thermometer registers 155°F.
